Is Vince McMahon buying another promotion, bad(more inside)?

As for WCW: the people that owned it didn't want it. Ted Turner loved WCW and it made him a lot of money. But through various corporate mergers and takeovers Ted Turner ended up not being the boss of the company that owned WCW. Corporate types didn't want to invest in WCW so they sold it to WWE. WWE gained all of the WCW talent and then split its roster between RAW and SmackDown. As for ECW, if the owners could have made money off it they would not have sold it. WWE again acquires all the ECW talent. Why would Vince keep open a rival to WWE? If WWE buys TNA then TNA will close, and all TNA contracts will be WWE contracts.
